Ultrasound....

YAY for the ultrasound!!! It's so exciting to have an ultrasound, to be able to see that little one for the first time...amazing! My ultrasound is 4 weeks away & it can't come soon enough! I can't wait, partially because we have decided to find out what we are having this time. With both of the boys we didn't know what we were having but we decided that this time we'd find out (providing baby co-operates on ultrasound day). Craig wanted to keep it a secret once we found out but I am pretty sure I would spill the beans. So, we agreed that we would share our news! I can honestly say that it doesn't matter to me what we are having. A boy would be wonderful, I love having boys & a girl would be great because it would be fun to experience all things girly, especially for my hubby who is from an all boy family...we'll have to see! I am just excited that I don't have to wait until delivery day to find out! :)

So, any guesses??? What do you think we are having???

A little girl...

Well, I am so excited to say that we will be welcoming a little lady into our family this fall. My sis Amy is preggo & due about a month before me. She had her ultrasound last week & found out she is having a girl! It'll be fun to have a little girl added into the mix. My boys are excited to have a little girl cousin. Jonah said, "it's good she's has a girl baby in her tummy because we already have 3 boys." He has already told me that he has to go & buy his girl cousin a present. He's thinking she'll need some jammies, a soother, a blankie & a stuffed animal for snuggling. I love the mind of a 4 year old!

Welcome 2nd Trimester & Summer...

YAY!!!!! I have arrived at the second trimester!!! I am so happy to be feeling better & more energized. My belly has popped & I have packed away my pre-preggo clothes for the time being. It's amazing to me how fast this belly has popped this time around. I just hope it slows down a little bit or else it'll be HUGE by time this baby comes!

The boys are good. They are loving the fact that mommy isn't "pukey" anymore. That was a little challenging. Especially for Jonah, he really doesn't like it when mommy doesn't feel well. He said to me today, "Oh mommy I am so glad you aren't pukey anymore, that made me really sad." What a dear boy. He is such a little softie. So, we have been going out a lot more lately which is always nice, especially in this HOT weather. We hit the new water park at the Langley Events center yesterday & I think I loved it just as much as they did. It's great because it is fenced & only has two entry points which is GREAT for Joshua who just runs all the time. I can watch him & he understands that he has stay in the fence. It was actually enjoyable & relaxing!

I am loving the ages that the boys are at now. They are playing together & having fun. It's so nice that Josh can keep up with Jonah & that Jonah wants him around! They are becoming such great little buddies, it makes this mama smile! They are both chatting about the baby all the time. Josh tells me the baby is a girl, "sista for Joshie" is what he tells me. Jonah flips back & forth between boy & girl. We will see! Jonah has decided that he is going to take care of the baby though. He tells me that he can take care of the baby & I can take care of Josh. Funny kid! He wants the baby to sit by him in the car, sleep in his room, he wants to feed the baby, dress the baby & NAME the baby. Haha! It should fun over the next few months as we prepare for baby's arrival! :)

Craig & I are making summer plans. Some camping, a few trips up to Kelowna to visit our dear friends & loads of family outings. No big vacation plans this year. Maybe next year. Craig is saving the bulk of his holiday time for when the baby comes in the fall. With me having to have a c-section he really wants to be at home for a couple weeks. We did that when we had Josh & it was really nice to have him home to help. Some great family time too. It'll be here before we know it! I am really looking forward to this summer though. The boys are at such a great age & I am going to treasure it!

Well, I am going to go & get some sleep because I have a big date tomorrow. Jonah & I are going out on the town! And Josh & Craig are having a daddy day! Should be a great day for everyone! Enjoy your weekend!
